सह-पाठयक्रम गतिविधियां -
Regional Level Rashtriya Ekta Shivir (Jammu Region) 2018 for Kendriya Vidyalayas of Jammu Region commenced on 1st of September 2018 at KV NO.1 Udhampur. The participating clusters were Srinagar, No.1 Jammu, No.2 Jammu and Udhampur. Brig. T.S. Sandhu Dy. GOC HQ 71 Sub Area blessed the Occasion as the Chief Guest along with Mrs. Harjeet kour and Sh. D.P. Patel Assistant Commissioner Jammu Region were Guest of Honour. Col. R.K. Chauhan also gave his special presence in the programme. Principal Rajesh Pandey, Vikramaditya, Bharti Pandey, Pawan Sharma, Usha Koul, Sanjay Kumar, Sukhwinder Bali and other staff members escorted the Guests. The programme was inaugurated by Lighting of the Lamp. Guests were welcomed by presenting batches to them. Principal Rajesh Pandey gave a hearty welcome to the Guests, Participants, Escort teachers and Jury Members of the various Competitions. He expected the event to be held in a healthy competitive way by keeping up the spirit of the event high. A melodious Welcome song was presented in a mesmerizing way by the students of KV No.1 Udhampur. Guest of Honour Sh. D.P. Patel, Astt. Commissioner of Jammu Region illuminated all the participants by mentioning that ‘Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat’ is a National level programme organised by KVS and other states also take part in this programme. We should always encourage our students for the same. He expected the Jury members and teachers to select the best participants to be sent at National Level. In his speech, Chief Guest Brig. T.S. Sandhu appreciated the steps of KVS in the spread of the idea of Cultural diversity in schools. He even mentioned that like our country Afganistan too has got cultural diversity. He also applauded the work of Principal & Vidyalaya family of KV No.1 Udhampur. Brig. T.S. Sandhu Dy. GOC HQ 71 Sub Area and Sh. D.P. Patel Astt. Commissioner Jammu Region were presented books as a token of love from the Vidyalaya. The Co-ordinator and Organizer of the programme Pawan Sharma PGT History said that the competitions are held under ‘Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat’ and KVS lit fest. The competitions for the day were dance of Tamil Nadu and Afghanistan, Group Song, On-Spot Painting, Solo Singing, English Debate, English Speech, Creative Writing, Skit, Spell Bee. All the winners of different competitions will participate at National level. In this programme Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma, Mrs. Usha Koul, Mrs. Jyotsna, Mrs. Sukhwinder Bali gave a commendable contribution & co-ordinated the programme successfully.

इन प्रतियोगिताओ मे ड्राइंग एव पेन्टिग, काव्य - पाठ, कविता - लेखन, राखी बनाना, रंगोली, वाद - विवाद, दिया सज्जा, निबन्ध लेखन, एकल गायन, समुह गायन, समुह न्रत्य आदी प्रमुख है, जिनमे छात्रो द्वारा बढ - चढकर हिस्सा लिया जाता है । सदन - प्रभारियो के कुशल नेतृत्व मे छात्रो का मौलिक प्रतिभाओ का विकास होता है ।

Krishna House (Nidhi, Pallavi, Rohitaksh, Sneha) 2. Brahamputra House (Ridham, Saksham, Shiv, Rajrishi) 3. Narmada House (Yoshita, Krish, Pragiti, Sejol) For 9th - 10th 1. Ganga House (Anjali, Rishi raj, Matushi, Anushka) 2. Brahmaputra House (Ananta, Gouri, Suraj, Shreya) 3. Narmada House (Tirtha, Prachi, Priyanka, Sanjivini Sanskrit Song was held on 9th Aug. 2017 and the winners are For 6th - 8th Shubha, Ridhima, Roshi Siya Aryan Danish Vansh Ridham For 9th - 10th Purvi, Sakshi, Sanjeevni, Prachi, Ishnit. Sanskrit Essay Writing Competition was held on 8th of Aug. 2017 and the winners are For 6th - 8th 1. Shweta (8th D) 2. Pallavi (8th E) 3. Nidhi (8th E) For 9th - 12th 1. Matushi (9th C) 2. Vanshika (9th B) 3. Rishi Raj (9th A) A skit was also performed on Sanskrit week by the following students Ramneesh, Kanika, Manpreet, Riya, Vadhika, Anandi, Sanya, Samarth
